The D12 compact Line Source element is a high powered, full range, long-throw system designed for medium to large scale sound reinforcement applications.The  D12  loudspeaker  enclosure is  based  on  a  2-way  active  design. It comprises 2 input sections: 1x LF at  a  nominal  impedance of  8  ohms, and  1x HF at a nominal  impedance of 8 ohms. It features two 12” speakers all direct-radiating neodymium speakers mounted in a 6 order bass-reflex enclosure, and two 1.4” exit, 3” neodymium diaphragm  compression drivers coupled to individual patented Audio Performance wave guides with adjustable directivity flaps.
The transducers are implemented in a K-shape configuration. The cabinet is made of machined first grade12 & 15mm Baltic birch plywood to ensure maximum acoustical and mechanical integrity while reducing weight to the minimum. A four-point rigging system is integrated into the cabinet. The D12 enclosure operates over the nominal frequency range of 35 Hz to 20 kHz +/- 3dB and delivers a maximum peak SPL of 147dB.
